The Rivie is the headland that separates Collieston Harbour from Cransdale, the next bay along to the north where there is a car park. On top of the Rivie is the Old School building which is now a community centre (see photo above). You pass this building each time you drive into the village. Behind the Old School is now an outdoor gym and a lovely picnic area. You can walk there from the cottage in 10 minutes, jog there in 5 or drive there in 2.
