This storm struck the northeast of Scotland on the 25th of November and caused quite a lot of damage. Trees all around the area were uprooted, roofs damaged and power was lost to many homes and villages including Collieston. If you would like to see Collieston harbour in a storm, watch this video.
Yachts very rarely enter the harbour, but do sometimes. They are warned to leave if there is any hint of winds from the east or southeast. The photos below show what can happen if a skipper ignores these warnings!
